My favourite season, without a doubt, is fall. I love the look and feel of nature changing. Vibrate green trees transition to a multitude of warm hues from crimson red, terracotta orange, mustard yellow and chestnut brown. The air is crisp in the morning and evenings, thus we are required to don an array of accessories to keep us warn. These accessories, in and of themselves, I find truly reflect an individuals’ personal style. There is no shortage of variety when it comes to coats, hats, gloves scarfs and the like. Are you an all black-everything person? Brown? Maybe greys? Perhaps you love fabrics and texture, so you opt for big-chunky knit scarfs and wool sweaters. Or rock the oversized fur coat? Some people choose to wear very bold colour accessories, while others stick to neutrals.
The best part is the fall brings on so many exciting events and holidays. Not only does this mean I get more time with my friends and family, it also allows me to experiment with all the different trends of the season. Incorporating it your outter-wear accessories into your outfit, not just matching your coat, is a true skill. But it can make you look so polished and well-put-together I think its worth taking note of. By this I mean everything, and I mean everything, compliments each other; from stockings, to heels, to your dress or suit, coat, earrings, scarf, hat and gloves.
I hope to do some more follow-up posts on fall fashion but for now I wanted to share with you some of the looks I loved while scouring the 2014 Fall Fashion shows. It may seem like a lot but I could have added another 20 images easily. These are mainly business formal and special occasion looks because thats usually what I’m in. They will surely be inspiring my look this fall, and dictate my future purchases this up coming season.
